From my family to the Irwin family and all his dear friends~we are most sorry for this loss. These past few weeks have been a blur and it's been hard to accept this reality. My "Steve Story" is that while in labor with my now soon-to-be 5 yr old I was in hospital watching T.V. and guess what was on? That's right, Steve-o! Watching him with a snake, truly took my mind off the pain I was in and I was ever so thankful...until the pain got worse! LOL!
There are a few truths that helped me to feel more at peace and here they are...
Steve did what he did for us all. So that we could understand, respect and appreciate our fellow creatures of this planet. I thank him for that.
Steve clearly understood what he was doing. Again, he did what he did for us.
Steve lived his life with purpose and courage. His message was well received. We should all aspire to have such a dedicated heart.
Thank you, Steve for bringing us along with you on your adventures. It isn't likely we could ever have had the opportunity to experience wild life this way without you there on T.V. teaching it, thank you.
Terri, Bindi and Bob-and the Irwin family~ Bless you for letting us into your lives. Sharing your time, your lives, your photos, your stories. Thank you so very much. I hope you can understand how hard it would be for us to NOT feel close to you as you are beemed into our lives daily.
I pray nightly for your family. Remember, we love you and even though it may seem suffocating, we are here for you. We look forward to seeing you again. Many blessings...
