G'day to all you people in America and Canada who loved Steve so much. I'm a local from Brisbane Australia and thought you might be interested in a song that I wrote as a tribute to Steve. To the family my heart goes out to all of you. We the Guillory and Deshotel family mourn for your lost. Terry keep up his work it would mean so much. Thanks to him we understand alot more about animals and there habitat.
Lovely song Geoff. Very touching. The words really speak to my heart, and say what everyone has been feeling about Steve. We miss him so much... and the memories of him will truly live on in the hearts of all the people he touched. Your song would go well with a video tribute or picture montage of Steve's life (like those on youtube.com)

geoff let me just say one word. "IPOD" that song is now on it. I will be able to listen to it when i feel the need to remember him which will probably make it the most played song on my ipod.

this song is absolutly beautiful, it fits steve so well and even the music reminds me of steve. thank you for this song this will help a lot of people grieve and hope his family get the chance to hear it as well. I tell you, it just makes me want so much more to be able to fly to austrailia and go to his tribute in 2 weeks.
Like most others, I couldnt make it through the first bit before I lost it. Its a beautiful song, and I will definately listen to it when I need to remember him.
I think you should find a way to get this to his family if at all possible. What an awesome thing you have done by writing this. It will definately help alot of us here.
Steve I just have to say that your song touched my heart so much. It was absolutly beautiful. I cried all the way through it. My brother in law passed away just this past April and this song reminded me of him also. I will treasure this always. Thank you. ANd god bless you. Karen from Temecula, California

Am am putting together a video clip to go with the song and will be taking a trip up to Australia Zoo next week and will deliver a copy for the Irwin family. There has been some interest in people wanting a disc copy of 'Memory of you'. I don't really want to make any money from the song myself, but would rather The Australia Zoo get the benefit from it. So basically, If enough people request it though them, I will make it available for them to produce and sell with all funds going to the Steve Irwin conservation fund.
i hope you do make a c.d. for this song, it would be a wonderful way to raise money for steves family and the wildlife warriors, i really think a video to this song would be appropriate as well. its absolutly beautiful and it fits him so well even the music fits steve, thank you for such a wonderful song. it deffiantly makes you think.

Well, I think this would be an excellent tribute to Steve and for you to have made it to donate proceeds to the Steve Irwin Conservation Fund is very noble of you. Most people would only consider a profit for themselves from this tragedy. Hats of to you and I hope something actually comes out of this for you and the Steve Irwin Conservation Fund. I have also read quite a few really excellent poems written for Steve, I would like to see those people get recognized also for their contribution to help ease the pain we all are still feeling for the loss of Steve Irwin. When I read this post I wasn't sure that I had the strength to listen to this song without breaking down again, as I have been breaking down all week since the tragic news of our dear sweet Steve... However, as I have read so many of the posts dedicated to Steve with poems that have been written for him and his family and when I read all of the replies to your song I decided that I really wanted to hear the beautiful song that everyone is referring to. I listened to it and it is so very touching, so very loving and so very beautiful... What an amazing tribute to a beautiful one of a kind man... After hearing this song, the lyrics so sweetly sung and the gorgeous music set to such loving lyrics I feel that this is the most beautiful song and it would be wonderful if it could be played at his public funeral. It really conveys what so many of all of the people around the world are feeling. Maybe The Irwin Family will hear this and want it played at the public service for our beloved Hero, Steve Irwin - Our Crocodile Hunter... Rest in peace, Steve...
