My family suffered a double loss on that tragic day. We were informed that our nephew was killed in Iraq. It actually brings us some comfort knowing that both of them are up there looking down on us keeping us safe together. They both gave their lives fighting for what they believed in. Steve fought for freedom for the all the animals and a better world for them and us. Justin fought for freedom and safety for us. Both are heroes, both will be so greatly missed. Steve taught my children to slow down and enjoy the outdoors and not to take advantage of it. The only guarantee that it will still be here for years to come is what we teach our children now and Bindi will do awesome with that. She is the strongest, the most mature girl I have ever known. She is very lucky to have everyone at Australia Zoo as her family. I give my deepest condolences to you and everyone at the Zoo. My thought and prayers are with you all.
