I remember the first time someone mentioned "The Crocodile Hunter to me. I thought it was like the Crocodile Dundee movies or something. I watched the DVD's from the library and was struck by this man who had such a passion for the animals he talked about. Needless to say we started having "critters" get into our house. Possums to be exact. My husband and I couldn't bear to kill them so with thick padded gloves and 40 gallon bucket we caught them and my husband drove about 7 miles to release them back into the woods. Had it not been for Steve Irwin's passionate message about animals I can't tell you what might have been. He inspired a family to do their best to conserve nature and the animals. Thanks, Steve you were truly one of a kind. We'll miss you greatly.
