I just wanted to offer my deepest condolences to the Irwin Family and friends. I can't imagine what Terri must be going through, and I wish that I could give her and the kids a huge hug. They will be in my thoughts and in my prayers. I have been watching Steve and Terri since the very first airing on Animal Planet. I guess watching a show for so long makes you feel like you actually know the Irwins. I laughed with them, grieved with them on a passing of a family member or loyal pet (My heart broke when Steve's mother and Sui passed), and rejoiced at the births of Bindi and Bob. It is rare to witness such a loving and devoted family. For such a tough guy, Steve was never afraid to shed a tear or let his emotions show, which is probably why everyone loved him so much. I always admired their dedication to wildlife. Believe it or not I was in a print shop today and saw this Bible verse on the wall.
John 15:13 Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends
Steve was a Wildlife Warrior till the end, and in his passing I believe there will be a greater awareness of the importance of their mission. I will never forget you Steve!!
Sincerely, Stacie Brockman Nashville, TN
