For as long as I live, I will never forget Sept. 4th, 2006, the day the Crocodile Hunter died. It was the first thing I heard about when I got up that morning, and it's all I could think about since. He was the voice for those who could not speak and he died trying to get their word out. To live the life he had would be a wonder. It was a rollercoaster of ups and downs, it is just a shame that his ride was cut short. But here's to you Steve, and I hope your ridng that coaster up in the clouds.

As I sit here with my children and see the tears streaming down their faces, I only can think of the pain that Steve's family must be going through. My heart breaks for the loss this world has encountered but it is nothing compared to those closest to Steve. I hope in time Teri, her children, and Steve's father have the chance to read all of these posts. I don't think he ever realized the hearts he touched and the passion he gave to so many young children. My son Noah asked today if he could donate his savings to keep Steve's dream alive. We just did and my husband and I matched that amount. Similiar to the pain of Spetember 11th we must never forget Steve's passion and do what we can to keep it alive!
