Please add our names to the love heart for Steve and his family.
Ed, Linda, and Aaron Nelson, Richardson Texas.

We loved Steve and all he did to inspire the world with regard to animal conservation. My dad is a Park Ranger in Michigan, and I have grown up around conservation and the need for protecting our wildlife and their habitats. The loss of Steve Irwin has deeply affected us. He was our hero.
My hope is that his family, friends, co-workers and all who are able will take up his torch and do so in MULTIPLIED ways- and that those of us who can support thier efforts in our own unique ways will continue to do so with additional passion. May we all see the quest for animal and habitat conservation ADVANCE, not retreat with this heartbreaking loss. No one can take Steve's place, but maybe new "Steve Irwin's" will come onto the scene determined to fill his shoes...

My prayers and heart go out to Terri, Bindi, little Bob and big Bob, Steve's friends and all who loved him.
We will miss you terribly, mate.

Steve Irwin was a powerful voice in the animal world for Austrailia and the world over. He lived life with a passion most of us wish we had for our jobs and he died doing what he enjoyed. He will be greatly missed and will always be an icon in the animal world. His family and his extended Australian zoo family will be in my thoughts and prayers.

I am sorry that Steve died, but I am glad that he died doing what he loved. NO one will ever come close to the amount of conservation that this man has done. He will always be remembered and never will be forgoten. I send my love to Terri, Bindi Sue, baby Bob, Wes, and all of Steve's family and friends. I LOVE YOU STEVE!

Irene Jerue From Sacramento California:
I remember the first time I watched his show back in 1994 or so I believe. I have watched every since and I even got an e-mail from Terri way back then. It was so cool. I am a 38 year old woman with two teen daughters and we are all devistated. He will be missed.

Still so sad, Steve was a bright light of sunshine in these troubled times, it's not fair that someone so beautiful is gone.

Steve was an educator that reached the ends of the world to spread knowledge about the wildlife he loved. He will truly be missed. We all should take a lesson from him and love life with his vigor. Remember to hand down your passions just as Steve did to those closest to him.

I am speechless, my son and I have cried since Monday night. How do you explain something like this to a child.

Teri, Bindi, and Bob we love you and you have our deepest sympathies. I just wish I could do something more for his memory.
