As the mother of 3 boys, ages 8,6 and 4, Mr Steve lives in our back yard! We have been very selective of the TV we have let our children watch, and actually, the only two shows they know are really on TV are The Crock Hunter and Jeff Corwin. My oldest has always loved animals. As a 3 year old, his favorite books at the library were animal encyclopedias (I would always think, can't I read you a STORY! This is boring! ) So, Animal Planet and Steve Irwin, are legends in our home. When the boys go outside, they play "Mr. Steve." And, when their two cousins, also boys, come over to play, they take turns being "Steve" or "Jeff."
