To all of steves family and friends my depest condolences. The first time i saw steve on tv i thought to myself like most other people " this guy is nuts", but as i watched on on i saw the fire and intensity in is eyes for what he was doing. This man truly changed the way that i and millions more viewed wildlife. His message got across to me in so many ways and i thank him for infecting me with the wildlife bug. I am motre aware and not so quick to just step on or kill any form of wildlife instead i no we can share the area together with just a little respect from one another. Though steve was taken away far to early he set out to acheve exactly what he was here to do ad that is . Educate as many people as posible about wildlife. weather it be a small spider or a lare crock they were all beautifull to him. His love and passion for life is both infectious and inviting. If all people could go through life with that kind of spirit and love there would be no more conflicks or troubles. No matter what you thought of steve at first you were drawn to his energy for wildlife and life itself. In my eyes we not only lost the best teacher anyone could have buta beautifull soul that everyone should live there life by. For me i want to say thank you all from the bottom of my heart for every moment you shared with me i will truly charish it always and carry it with me everytime i step foot in the outdoors. Ive blabbered on enough so with all of my heart and soul i will miss you always steve and carry a little piece of you everytime i walk into the outdoors. To terry, bindy, and bob. Please hold comfort in this time of mourning that your husband was a god sent soul that effected everyone in this world in one small way or another. He is a hero to me and please be except my deepest condolences. Im gonna miss ya mate you show the up in heaven !!!!

I hear ya; Its not cause i "hated" spiders,, I was just so scared of them I would kill them; BUT NOW when I see a small one, I just let it be and actually have "compassion" and say "it didnt do anything to me" so I let it just do its thing. What a change Steve made in my life; as I have said to someone at work "who else on this planet but Steve Irwin could help us love crocodiles?" I dont want to meet up with one, but now I have this LOVE and compassion for them!! God's creatures! What a man he was! I cant wait to meet him up there but he sure did his job!!
