Once in a great while an idividual makes such an impact on not only those around him/her but an entire planet.
This is truely a phenomenon that I/we can scarcely comprehend.
Steve Irwin was such an individual.
We remember the first time we saw him on TV.
He was this "larger than life" charchter with so much energy and enthusiasm we looked at each other and thought "who is this nut" and were instantly captivated by his unique charm and passion. As we followed Steve on his many adventures over the last years we grew to understand not only where this passion comes from but why it was so important to him.
We can not explain how a person we have never actually met has effected our hearts and minds the way Steve Irwin has.
We can only say, with the heaviest of hearts, that he will be sorely missed by us and the world he touched with his loving hands.
