This is from one teenager, 17 and two kids who are 10 and 8.

Ally, Age 17:
I am terribly sad for what has happened. I have dealt with so many losses this past year and I understand it is terrible. Steve was one of my personal heroes. Every day I would watch him and I would always feel so assured that any goal you want to acheive, you can achieve it.
I will always remember him. If Terri is reading this I want you to know that you are such a strong woman for your kids and you were strong for steve. I know that this is going to be hard, but loss is never easy. I know that you will protect your kids and make them remember him, but also let them move on after the time is right to set things right. I really enjoyed watching you and steve and I hope that you continue you conservation and study of animals just as steve did!

Brendan, Age 10:
This was a terrible loss. I feel very sorry for what happened. He was a great person. I saw the epsiode where the crocodile bit his finger and I thought that it hurt a lot but steve was cool and could do anything.

Brittany, Age 8:
I miss you steve!
