Steve Irwin is such an amazing man. He has taught so many so much about wildlife and conservation and now I find that even through his death he has taught me about the human experience.
I've always loved watching the crocodile hunter, but I never realized what kind of profound effect he had on me until his passing. I never knew that he held such a special place in my heart. I wished that I had realized that while he was still alive. This has made me take a new look at my own family and friends. Do I realize how special they are? Or am I taking them for granted? I will not wait for their passing to make me realize how special they are.
Steve also has taught me that I should live life to it's fullest. I already have so many "I wishes" and "what if's". I bet Steve didn't have any I wishes or what if's. He surely lived life to the fullest and enjoyed every minute of it.
I also find it amazing that one man has had this kind of effect on so many thousands of people world wide. I read these posts and see compassion coming from every corner of the globe. It's gives me hope in this day of terror that we live in, that are many, many people out there who care. Who care about other people and animals.
I am still amazed at the effect his death is having on me. I never knew him or met him and I find myself crying over and over again. Everytime I think I'm getting through the tears I'll see something on TV about him or read these posts and find that, here I go again, crying over a man I never knew. I think that is a testimony to Steve, that so many who never knew him, love him so much. He is going to be greatly missed.
I hope that one day Terri, the rest of Steve's family, and the Australian Zoo family can read some of these posts and see just how one man touched the lifes of so many. To see how much he will be missed.
The more I read about Steve's life and all the contributions he's made to wildlife conservation the more I realize just how amazing this one man is. And yes, he's taught me one more thing............ONE PERSON CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE.

Steve Irwin, you are right how can 1 man make such a differance and affect so many millions with his passing, I can't even hardly type without the feeling and emotions of felling like I lost my brother, friend, family member.

The lord has choosen another great warrior to protect his kingdom, I feel very fortunate to have had the time with Steve even though I never met him I could always tune in to his show's and felt like I was right there with him, like he wrote that show just for me and my family...Steve we miss you...you will always be in our thoughts and memory's.
