I live in Australia, just outside Sydney. Yes, Steve was a great man who did so much for wildlife and conservation, one in a million he was. It's amazing how popular he'd become outside of Australia, I really had no idea how much until I read many of these posts from people worldwide. He really became popular in Australia over the last couple of years, though and we all grew to love him. I guess Aussies are so used to hearing his accent and seeing the Australian wildlife that we just didn't see him as anything out of the ordinary. I have now started watching his shows which I never really did before. Steve, Terri and their children Bindi and Bob are the most loving, happy family I think I've seen. We can all carry on Steve's work and do our little bit for wildlife efforts and conservation. He would be proud that his message got through to so many. Have any of you ever come to Australia? If so, were you lucky enough to visit Australia Zoo and meet Steve? Are any of you planning a trip to Australia in the near future as I know from reading these posts that many of you would love to come for a visit. I would love to hear of your Aussie adventures.
