Before I started to do this post I looked at the number of pages of posts...68...wow. I guess that can tell you from the start that Steve was a loved person. And no one can say otherwise. So anyway I guess this post will go unnoticed in the sea of messages, but it's quite alright...who the heck has enough time to read these many posts anyway! Smile

Now I can start admireing Steve for the great animal lover and family guy he was. It's true he was all those stated above. But there are so many. Yet there's one thing that actually made Steve one of a kind in this line of buisness. Answer me this question : What other wildlife specialist or zookeeper do you know? Yeah, by name I mean. I for one don't know any other(maby I'm just dumb but i can asure you that there are soo many in my situation).

Now if you'll start to give me names it could mean 2 things:

1. The people you are talking about are jst some actors who have a wildlife show on this fine channel, but not real wildlife specialists.

2. You will give me names of people from this branch but I guarantee you you and 2 more are the only one who know them by name.

I mean come on! Any ignorant city boy has heard of Steve Irwin, or seen at least one of his shows.

He knew how to get 'te message' out better than anyone else. And the secret to it was soo simple : he put his soul into his work. lol I have never seen a grown up man with a more childish heart before..and this is a compliment.

Well I guess that's all I had to add to his ocean of grief....RIP Steve,,I wish I could have seen one of your shows.

I read somewhere that Bindi was going to continute with her new show, Jungle Girl. I don't know when it'll be released in Romania but it'll be out in America in January I think. I know she'll be just like her dad. ^_^ And it wouldn't suprise me one bit if she started driving his truck when she old enough! lol

Jeff Corwin, Jack Hannah, Austin Stevens, Jane Goodall, etc... No Steve Irwin granted. But all good in their own right!!

No offense, but Jeff Corwin seems more like just a show host. I mean I don't think he does this type of stuff when the camera's not rolling, but that's just my opinion.

And I'm ashamed to say that the others I don't really know by name but I'm shure I recgnise them if I see a picture or something. And That's what I'm trying to say. I'm not someone who knows allot about the people in this line of buisness and I'm shure there are many who haven't the foggiest clue who those people are yet all have heard of Steve.

..I shure hope this post didn't sound mean or anything because it wasn't intended like that.

It's all good! Jack Hannah is the Director Ameritus of the Columbus Zoo in Ohio, and that's where I live. That's in the USA, if you weren't sure. But he's pretty famous in his own right. Not as famous as Steve, but he was on Larry King talking about the accident. Jane Goodall is well known for her efforts and work with chimpanzee conservation and protection. She's had several specials on AP. Austin Stevens does have a show on AP but I'm not overly fond of him. He's ok. Just not a big fan of venimous snakes. I don't know if Jeff Corwin does his work in his off camera time, but I truly enjoy his show, and I hope he does. I hope I'm not sounding rude. That is not my intention. Just trying to be informative.
