Why do we need a seperate washer and dryer?
How hard would it be for the appliance companies to make a combo washer and dryer all in one?
Think of the space you'd save. Just think you wouldnt have to un load the washer to put into the dryer. Load once set 2 knobs then when the wash is done the dryer could kick on saving you time.

They already do make washer/dryers , they are not cheap to buy and there are not that many models in production .
I would link one , but why ?
Google page 3 perhaps ?

first, they don't work well; second, they are a difficult piece of engineering, since you are combining water with either fire or electricity; third, you go from starting a load every hour to starting a load every two hours... unless you buy two, and at that point, you might as well spend less for a washer/dryer set that will do the job better.
