me and my girlfriend were driving one day and i listen to intense death metal and she listens to some calmer stuff, and we were listening to my music and she said it made her wanna drive faster. so we started talking about different kinds of music and how u might act driving, like if its a kind of music u dont like will u get angry and drive crazier? different things like that, and we thought this would be a perfect thing for the mythbusters to test.

Well, this is kind of embarrassing, but when I was a teenager I was listening to "Shakedown" by Bob Seger and ended up doing 80+ in a 55 zone before I noticed it.

It mostly depends on the person, and if they are paying more attention to driving and/or the music. If you are listening to a loud, fast paced music, and you are not paying attention to what you are doing, you might be inclined to start speeding. Then again, if you turn it down, and pay more attention to driving it should not matter.

I select music according to My mood. I don't let music control My mood. People need to learn to control themselves no matter what is around them.
