I've heard that if you drink watermelon with wine, you maybe die. I don't know if someone died drinking that, but i guess it can be real. Mixing wine with watermelon (Making a hole in the watermelon and filling it with wine)

That's one recipe. Informally, wine is frequently mixed with a variety of fruits to make what's labelled as "sangria", at least in the restaurants around here. Watermelon is just one regular component.

I even heard of a wine punch being served in a half watermelon bowl.

It was quite tasty.
