Alright, so Christmas is just around the corner, so I figured I'd present this idea:
Make a gingerbread house, made out of nothing but gingerbread, candy-canes, etc, etc. I think it'd be unique for the following reasons: how cool would it be to have a house made of nothing but gumdrops, gingerbread, frosting, and various other sweets.
Note: there has to be an upstairs. If you can build an upstairs, it'll not only prove your ingenuity, but it'll also tell us how strong food really is.
Seriously, you should try this out.

Is this supposed to be a myth? People do this all the time. Check this out. Everything you see in that picture is edible except of course for the ribbon.

LOL @ you guys.
I think it's pretty clear that the OP is talking about building a *full-scale* house made of gingerbread. Like one you could actually stand inside and sleep in. If not full scale two-story house, then at least a cottage-sized version.
I heartily second this Xmas Challenge (maybe for next year?). Obviously, this isn't a myth, but the show does stuff like this all the time, anyway.

I think it definitely could be considered a myth from Hansel and Gretel. There are just a few points they have to hit in order for it to be called a real gingerbread house: -Everything must be edible. -An average-sized adult must be able to stand up inside. -Must have at least 2 windows -Must have a functional door. Back in the time of the fairy tale they didn't have running water or electricity, so those don't need to be included for the structure to be considered a house. Just a one-room cottage. The real challenge would be the weight and stability of the materials if they were to make something that large. And then at the end they can blow it up I really hope they do this one Christmas.
