Out at the mines there are warning posters about the large (10ft tall x 3.5ft wide) tires on the 220 ton haul trucks having enough energy to "propell a man over 5500ft in the air" These tires have enormus amounts of energy potential as they have about 140psi in them. They have two piece rims with a locking wedge to keep the bead in place.What would really happen if there was someone next to them or on top of one when one blew out or if the bead ring came unlocked and slipped off of the rim while inflated?
