How can this BS be allowed to run for so long? All stickies should be closed.
If it says no more "free energy" posts it should mean just that and block any further posts on the subject, unless someone can produce incontrovertible proof of their design. If posters do not understand that, I don't really care.

Wireless energy transmission by means of a spherical conductor “single-wire” surface wave transmission line may be possible, a feasibility study using a sufficiently powerful and properly tuned Tesla coil earth-resonance transmitter being called for. (Wikipedia)
I found this page on the web : http://www.omega432.com/tesla.html
Summary

The two secrets of free energy employed in Tesla’s wireless technology:

1) By applying an oscillating high voltage signal (dV/dt) to a metal terminal with large surface area, longitudinal waves are emitted that result in no loss of energy because in lacking either/both electric and magnetic components these waves have no Poynting vector. Yet the receiver will respond to this by outputting energy.

2) Longitudinal waves, which are identically scalar waves made of divergence in the vector potential, or voltage fields that vary uniformly over space but oscillate over time, will cause corresponding oscillations in the density of mobile electrons. And likewise, compressive oscillations in the density of mobile electrons will create longitudinal waves. Furthermore, such radial oscillations in ion or electron distribution will, when vibrating in a mode of resonance, tap into the time stream and produce free energy that adds to the amplitude of their oscillation.

I m not a scientist so i m asking Mythbusters if this could be true?

This whole topic reminds me of the Ferengi rule of acquisition 59: Free advice is seldom cheap.

Well even if you guys say so just in case i have the file with all the instructions and materials to make this thing just in case you guys dont have it.
i actually have the file of 57 pages officially explaining the whole thing pretty clear i dont really know how to send it in here.

tnxs awesome show.

There are so many posts here this will probably not be read but I have an idea I would like to share. It is not free energy but a way to create energy (electric) without pollution. Here is my idea.......

Use gravity to create energy. First off please keep in mind that this would require human energy to raise a weight every 12 hours. This might bother some people but does not bother me.
Have a tower that is 24 feet tall. This is so the weight has room to drop. Attached to the weight is a series of gears....I was thinking of flywheels and the starter gear that goes with the flywheel. Place these gears in succession so the weight drops 2 feet per hour and in turn rotates the end gear at a constant RPM to be attached to a generator (was thinking one that is used for a windmill).

This system could be attached to a bank of batteries. The system would charge the batteries at night and assist during the day.

I would try to build this myself but lacking funds at the moment but I think in theory it would work.

Any suggestions or comments?

Thank you for your time.

cwschooley, the average person can work at a rate of about 1/3 horsepower, or about 250 watts. The average house uses about 10,000 watts of electricity. That means it would take 40 people working 24/7 to power ONE house purely by muscle power, provided that the means of doing so is 100% efficient. Putting all those people on exercise bikes attached to generators would be more efficient than the technique you proposed.

This really belongs in the hydrogen energy forum, but it is closed.

DANGER

DO NOT PUT SALT IN THE WATER to "speed" the electrolysis. It is not a catalyst. It changes the reaction.

Instead of oxygen coming from the other terminal, the gas is poisonous CHLORINE gas when any chloride salt is added.

i havent seen the episode where this was done, nor can i find it. There seems to be ALOT of discussion about this, maybe it deservers a second look. I have seem alot of rediculous myths done, and even get a second try, think this one maybe is worthy?

Just because something is talked about doesn't mean it's worth busting. The results of any revisit are GUARANTEED to be busted. The only people who believe in free energy are the delusional and the less than intelligent.
