on the newest Indiana Jones movie an atomic bomb is detonated with Indy in the fake city...his only protection, an old refrigerator...he climbs in with no lock or anything and when the bomb detonates he is launched at least 1/8th of a mile and bounces down a hill then proceeds to climb out unbruised and unharmed...I'm sure you can understand the doubt here...i think this fits your parameters for a test haha.

Unless it is a fridge lined with lead there is no need to test.

P.S. I don't think the government lends out nukes for testing myths.
