I saw this one on an episode of "Family Guy".

If you stick your finger down your throat, will you puke/throw up?

It's a protective reflex. if you ate something you can't swallow, you throw up that object to prevent choking on it. Since you can't swallow your finger, you activate the "throw up" reflex if your finger sticks in deep enough.

Do us a favor. Go into your bathroom, stand over your toilet and try it yourself. Then get back to us..... Roll Eyes

Unlike many suggestions, this is one you can try yourself.

Hmmmm..... maybe we have more in common that I thought!

Although I haven't had to resort to it since my days at Chico State.

Maybe its a military thing...or more likely a naval aviation thing...Pilots are HARD drinkers...I wasn't...until I became one. Its not a good thing...but we do alright....

I have couple of solutions rather better than stickin your finger down your throat:
1-Drink at least one 8oz glass of water before you go to bed after you are finished drinking, remember your body dehydrates after consuming alcohol.
2-Once you wake up and have the hang over get a 7oz cup of sprite or 7up and Alka Seltzer or Eno
(if you are allergic to aspirin) and drink it before eating anything. I promise you will be eating and feeling great 10 min after.
