In several video games in which you have access to a car in an open city, if you crash the car enough it catches fire and explodes. True or false?

GTA, if you drive into too many obstacles, the car starts to smoke and eventually catches on fire and if you (the character) doesn't jump out, you'll wake up from the nearest hospital. I reckon they should test this by RCing 5 unmodified cars (one for each mythbuster) and just go destruction derby on them!

I would say true, I have seen cars start on fire from one crash, let alone several.
