I am seeing companies popping up all over the place that are selling protective "skins" for cell phones, ipods, and other electronic gadgets. They make many claims with the leading one being that it makes you device scratch proof. They says the material comes from a polymer designed for military use. Are these things worth the money they are charging or are the consumers paying for a false sense of security?
