is it possible to make a parachute or glider out of industrial black garbage bags

I too, want to know the answer to this. You'll need a bag to strong enough to withstand the air. im pretty sure it wont work with only one though. so, i wonder how many it would take to at least slow down your fall if not work like a proper parachute!
