First off, this is nothing serious- just an idea:
Light glare reflected off a white-colored object. Of course, it would only be visible in the dark, and permits the use of any color with less than 100% luminosity (that means black), but still.

???????????????? Don't they advertise special glasses on TV in the wee hours of the morning that cut that glare?

What do mean a "transparen holographic image"? As I understand it , the image would appear to be made of clear glass or water.

Sorry, for bringing this back up. Wow. I must've been tired, when I wrote this.  What I was trying to say, was that light glare (refleted by projecting a distorted image on a white colored 'palette') could configure inside the retina, without the desired image being directly configured for viewing. Hope that made sense.
