When my brother and sisters where little, we would every so often get a can of Coke. Now, ours where warm, so we'd pop em' in the freezer for a few minute. Every so often, we would put about 5 or 6 in and leave them in there by mistake. All compressed soft drinks exspand. Exspanding inside of a can, the frozen goods have no where to go but out. So, they would cause such a combustion that the door would open a little, then close back up. I belive if you put enough cokes in a freezer (0F) that it will blow the door off and cause major damage to death. (I would put 15 cans on each shelf)

In the first place, combustion has nothing to do with it, as combustion is the act of burning. You need to revise your statement about all compressed soft drinks expand. Compressed? Try the fact that soft drinks are mostly water, and water expands when it freezes. It is a good thing that the world does not work on what you believe. You could stuff a freezer with cans of soda, and you are never gonna cause major damage or death. Quit being so bloodthirsty and just keep your sodas in the fridge, not the freezer.

I disagree. I've tried this like a thousand, and sense I live in the north country, if we leave soda or and form of a liquid out side during the winter, it'll freeze up. Well earlier this week, we bought a lot of soda and left it on the porch, totally by accedent. I went out the next morning to get one, and like 10 of the popped. Because due to the ammount of expansion in the soda and how much of the soda is in the cans, (because sometimes they don't put the same ammount in each can) some of them didn't pop because there wasn't enough soda to expand. But the ones that did pop, there was enough expansion to cause them to pop. now for Soda-Can-Boom, I agree on the whole soda can popping thing, but having a freezer door pop off and cause a major death, that I can't see because if that were to happen, we could sitck water into the freezer and have that expand and pop to cause a major death. So that part is nothing but a myth.
