it probaly would. all you need is one labtop or coumpter with wireless internet. you might not even need a satellite.
The Metal Gear Solid the Twin Snakes Grenade VS Tank fight. Namely the part where Snake throws a grenade down the barrel of a Tank to blow up the driver. So the question is can you 1 throw a grenade down the barrel of a Tank baseball style? (Maybe the guys could use a pipe and baseballs to test this one.) And 2 can you throw it with enough force to make it to the other end where the driver sits?
Devil may Cry 3’s Lady leg catch. The Character Lady is falling down the side of a building to her death when she is caught by Dante who reaches out and gabs her leg. The questions here are. Can you catch someone falling next to a building by grabbing their leg (the build team could throw buster off a building and try to have Tori catch him) and if you are caught can you walk away from it without any injury. (I think sensors in buster’s leg could detect this)
Airships. In final Fantasy there are multiple versions of this. But there are two concepts 1 (the easier of the two) is to have a blimp like balloon support the weight of a full ship and the ship has propellers in the back to move it forward. The second is a ship with helicopter like blades that are used to lift and move the ship. (I could see a Jamie Vs Adam building scenario here)
The last thing is pretty simple. The Chainsaw bayonet from gears of war. Can you make a gun like that and would it even work like it does in the game? (build team? Grant could probably make this work)
i think most of those myths are acturally pretty good other than the tank one. it might be hard to find a tank unless its a junker. but still those are good
I kind of like the idea of video game myths, not just because I love games but that you see a lot of common crazy things in games. I'll give some examples off the top of my head:
-Characters can normally jump really high -Guns reload really quickly -Characters jump around all over -Shooting barrels makes them explode -Picking up guns/ammo/powerups instantly -Characters normally carry insane amounts of equipment -Bullet holes in walls, pipes, wood etc. -Rocket jumping (using explosives to make someone jump higher)
I think it'd be cool to bring some of this into reality and show if a real-life person would be able to do this (eg. how long to reload a gun, how much can someone jump, how much equipment can someone carry etc.)
