I was recently fixing a car for a friend, when I suddenly realized that gasoline was dripping onto a small portable air compressor that I was using. My question is could the compressor draw in enough gas fumes to explode? I also paint cars in my garage. Could enough paint fumes do the same? How about starting fluid?
