Ok so i was watching MTV's Nitro Circus and this really chubby guy jumped into a giant foam block pit from probably 100 feet. He plunged 20 feet down into it and it took 30 minutes to find him. what i want them to test is:
[LIST]Test different objects to jump in from (foam blocks, maybe plastic "toy bin" balls, maybe pillows, maybe even PUDDING.
Also, how long a person could live in these various items?
And finally, how high would it take to be killed on impact on the objects?

Do they use a foam pit to perfect their tricks ? Yes they do.

Did what you described ever happen on that show? NO it did not.

It would not take 20 minutes to find anybody, much less a fat man, in a foam pit. First off, every one could see where the fluffy fat flyer flew and entered the pit. It's a bit of a no-brainer to just go straight to that spot and get Him. It's not like these foam pits are 20 feet deep.

Have you seen the episode? I guess not because it really happened. And in case you don't notice, foam pits really dont make spots where you can see where people drop. and in the show he didnt do like a belly flop, he did a pencil dive so it didnt make a spot! and the pit was HUGE so it took 30 mins. to find him. the pit was about 20 feet deep because if it was a regular pit he'd die! If you don't belive me, search for the clip online

If You are so concerned with people seeing the episode as a requirement to reply, why don't You post a friggen link to the video so we don't have to go search for it? Whats the Myth anyway? Your saying You saw it. It happened. Whats the Myth?

i think the myth should be how high would a person have to be to die on impact into various items like the foam pit, cement, water, and what ever else. and i cant find the clip. and it wasn't me who forced u to see it to read the myth

Is this: "Originally posted by rocklobster1231" You? No? Then I guess My statement was not to You. However, as long as I am stating THIS to You, I might take a moment to tell You that for this to, be a myth, in any way, it would need to go something like: I heard a guy jumped 300 feet into a 3 foot deep foam pit and lived. Could this actually have happened? That would be a myth to test. Asking how much it would take to kill the guy and then simply testing human frailty is not quite mythbusting. What you are suggesting is more akin to: lets drop a guy into/onto stuff until He's dead.
