Can you really jump on a horse from a second story window? Would the horse really not care?

An example would be Zorro after he takes care of the bad guys. He whistles, his horse comes and he jumps out of the window and lands on his steed. Can a person really do this?

As a long-time horseback rider,I doubt it. When your just getting on a horse normally, you have to make sure you sit down slowly, and dont bang the horses back, or you'll hurt it's back. However, this myth is very popular in movies, so it would be interesting to know how it's down
