I would like to see a show about smart pills. Are there substances that can boost brain function?

sounds a bit like some kind of steroid - boost of energy and brain signals, maybe.

Balldez, there was a drug I remember reading about ten years ago called Piractem. It wasn't available in the US at the time. It claimed to stimulate the uptake of neurotrasmitters in the brain causing in increase in the activity of synapses.

I haven't heard anything about in years but I'm more into anti-aging medicine at this point in my life.

I do remember that the study concluded that anything OTC didn't work in the way that it was claimed.

Thanks for your time.
