hahaah iv seen this happening when a old ladie cross the road realy slow then the driver of some kind of new mercedes got mad and gives the ladie the 'bird ' and the horn the ladie hits the bumper whit the bag and the airbags goes on hitting the guy in the face , cousing a open lip
and some small burn marks on the face

what you saw was a clip from a commercial that scenerio can not happen.

Most cars have the airbag controller connected to the speedometer, so the air bag will not go off if you are going slower than a set speed. I have been in two wrecks and both times I stopped the airbag from deploying by locking up my brakes, that way my car thought I was not moving since the wheels were not spinning.

There are videos of firefighters working car wrecks and the airbag deploying. There was one particular video that we watched in rookie school in which a firefighter was sitting on the dash, the airbag deployed and it threw him onto the trunk. I don't think that on killed him.

There are other ones where firefighters have their heads near the patients (near or in front of steering wheels) when they go off. That causes all kinds of trouble there. Two heads where only one should be.
