My stepfather told me this story, and for some reason i never forgot it.
Susposedly, a communications tech in the northern territories one day was working on a microwave repeater for the phone company. he always noticed that it seemed warmer when he was near or in front of the microwave horn.
One very cold winter day, he finished late at the remote site and decided he would grab a six pack from his truck and sit in front of the microwave horn to warm up while he kicked back a few brews.
Apparently, they found him the next day, fully cooked with 4 of the six beers unopened but exploded from pressure.
All of this sounds plasuable to me as he basically put himself in front of a microwave but, i wanted to know if anyone had heard of this or if it was in fact possible.
So long story short, can a microwave communications tower cook a person the same way a regular microwave cooks food?

This has been tested on the show and busted. They tried to cook a turkey on a broadcast tower for a TV remote unit and on a radar on a military ship. The radar made the turkey cooler actually.

The 2006 holiday special. It's the same one with the diet Coke and Mentos Rube Goldberg machine.

This is just an old urban legend. Has been floating around for decades in several different forms.
