In the movie Live Free or Die Hard, Bruce Willis rolls a fire extinguisher on the floor and shoots it to propel a baddie through a window.

Could someone hit a rolling fire extinguisher and if it exploded would it be able to propel someone through a window? I noticed that in the movie that Bruce Willis had to shoot more than one shot.
