Hey, I think doing a special on commercial-based claims of what a product can do would be a good idea. It's definitely interesting, and also helpful just to know what products actually do what they say they do. Plus, the MB could compare different brands trying to do the same task.

It'd be a great idea except for the Mythbusters don't do product testing/endorsing so it'd be a really boring show.

Very true. But if you want to keep your job, you don't call him one on a popular television show. Bottom line is that - as Adam put it - they won't bite the hand that feeds them. I, too, would love to see some of the claims put to the test, but it just isn't going to happen on Mythbusters.
