Alright, I really want a tat, and I live in Kansas. There's tons of artists here, but I wanna know if there's anyone out there that knows a REALLY good one in either like Lawrence, Topeka, or possibly Kansas City. Please and thank you for your help.

I know you were asking about up north, but if you don't mind the trip to Wichita, I had one done by Dennis McPhail at Artist at Large that I really like. They have a website with some of his and the other work. I have also had one done at Bullwinkles Tattoo. They also have a website.

In Lawrence the place to go is skin illustrations...in Topeka it is The Electric Tattoo. Both are in the local phone books! Hope u find what u r lookin for!

I would highly recommend going to Looking Glass Tattoo and Gallery in Topeka. She has done all of my tattoos (3 pretty large ones) and several for friends and family and I would not go anywhere else. I have had friends go to Electric and also Fine Line and have either had problems with healing or the tattoo didn't come out like they wanted. She is really busy, so expect to wait about 4-6 months to get in.
