I don't know if either Adam or Jaimie are fans of William Gibson but I find it likely that one of them may be.
In his most recent novel...
SPOILERS AHEAD
Gibson has a character shoot a 40 foot long container crate with a sniper rifle. The .30 caliber bullets are loaded with cancer fighting cesium capsules which are designed to penetrate the outside of the container than disintegrate on impact with 100 million dollars in US hundreds hidden int he bottom of the container. The idea is to irradiate the money to make it trackable and unable to be laundered.
Should either of you fine gents be a fan of mr. Gibson or the above idea, I think the novel itself has several Mythbuster-worthy scenes which one might put to the test.
Gibson is a bestselling author but perhaps his material isn't famous enough for the show. At any rate I'd like to hear what the members here have to say about the likelihood of such an event taking place outside the literary pages of the reader's imagination and Gibson's excellent prose.

So why do the bullets have to fight cancer in order to stop a money laundering scheme?

The idea is to irradiate the money with the long-lasting isotope so as to make it "trackable".
The funds had been "diverted" from a legitimate purpose.
Good book, I too am a big fan of Gibson.
Warbaby---Great character.

My normal Moniker was taken. Isn't this place run by Eve Community though? That's likely why it's taken, I have it. But how do I log in here with my Eve Community name?
At any rate, I think Jaime and Adam would have great fun with this myth, right up their alley.
Guns, radiation, money and a geek-chic sensibility.
