Thanks, MM. The clip's a great example of the tedium and repetitiveness that raw TV/film work entails.
I'd love to think that some of the posters here would persevere through the whole clip, smack their hands to their foreheads, and think "Of course! Now I know why Adam and Jamie don't answer my adoring posts, sit in hours-long website chats to field my scintillating questions, or drop everything at M5 and let me tour it whenever I want to -- they're busy WORKING on the SHOW!"
*sigh* It's so hard to be a cynic with an optimistic streak.....

Mythmod, would I find requests for, say, a car to destroy request in the paper from the MythBusters, or where would I do that?

Myth Confirmed! A woman with a rare genetic disease is training for a 600 mile bike ride by watching MythBusters! Check it out at: http://www.lindasride.org/Linda has Friedreich's Ataxia, an inherited disease that causes the nerves of the body to deteriorate. To raise funds for research she will participate in a 2-week 600 mile bike ride. Her website includes a blog that talks about the Mythbusters bicycle training regime! How cool is that? Go Linda!

That is the first commercial for a product I've seen the Mythbusters on. Thanks watcher56 And Mythmod, sorry about that Shark Week Part 2 post. I guess I was too lazy enough to check this first. But thanks for telling me where it was. Lastly, the news I have: NASA

busternightmares20,
That episode is slated to show some time after June of this year - it is still in production. There is a blog out there that mistakenly gave the air date as sometime in April, but they corrected it as the air date is not known at this time.

watcher56, I couldn't get the link you posted to work. This is the one I found: Mythbusters at UWPAccording to this article, "the event is free and open to the public" doesn't mean you can just show up that night. Tickets are free, but they must be picked up in advance of the event. UWP students have first shot at them (and rightfully so -- no complaints here!). The general public can pick up tickets on April 9th.

If you have the opportunity to go to an event like this, by all means go. They're very fun and informative (and you might be able to as Grant about his robot army or if he's MythMod.) lol

My son is a senior at Platteville. He's going to get himself a ticket, and if there is any left when they open it up, get one for me too. So if there is room, I'm going. "Grant, it seems that you are accumulating a robot army. How long until you use them to take over the world?" "Ms K, there is mystery surrounding the identity of our beloved 'MythMod'. Is she a family member of one of the cast? Perhaps your sister?"
