I just got back from the presentation. Overall, can only give it a "B". But the less than A+ performance can not be blamed on Kari or Grant.
The celebrities stared out by introducing themselves. They then showed a 'blooper' roll, which was quite funny, and not exactly G rated. After that the on stage moderators asked questions that had been presubmitted - followed by questions from the audience.
The questions that were asked were, to be honest, kind of lame. You could tell that Kari and Grant had answered these same questions over and over and over. They tried to make the answers interesting (which they succeeded at), but one could tell these questions were nothing new to them.
The audience question line was long, and they only got though about half of it when time ran out.
Grant did mention his robot army. He says they are almost ready. He confirmed he was give the $1000 for beating the lie detector, and showed us the laptop the money helped purchase.
Kari discussed a segment of the flatulence episode that didn't air. Something about a microphone place so that it could pick up bodily sounds and feed through the shop PA system.
They told the story about the cops coming when they were shooting 'Can a bunch of balloons lift a child' and how they all ended up face down on the ground as the 'safety man' tried to explain it was only a BB gun he was using to break the escaped balloons.
Jamies shop is M5, the build teams shop is M7. What happened to M6? They were evicted from it for making too much noise.
There were about 750 folding chairs set out (16 rows, 48 chairs wide, broken into 3 sections) for assigned seating. There was also a bleacher section (where I got to sit) that appeared to have about the same number of people as the chair section. So I would guess attendance was around 1500 or so.
We skipped the autograph session. The lines were long and I had a 2 1/2 hour drive home. All in all, a good time was had by all.
