I wanted to know, how long the maintenance lasted on the board. I was trying to log-in during the 11 and 12 also a bit later I could even entered on the page. I knew of the reasons for it, but I wanted to know if they fixed the things that were happening before like changing of screen-names, among others bad members that switch to the dark sides that were trying to blend in with the regular members of this nice message board.

What was the improvements done on this message forums? and what bugs were fixed during the maintenance process ? And did mythmod participated on these system check-ups ?

sorry for all the questions, but I was just a bit curious to know, if they administrators fixed most of the problems that were some people were facing on this board.

I was hoping for that, specifically since it been a bit long enough so that they could bring that back to the forums. More of UBB than the polls. But again, we will just have to wait until the administrators of the Disco board decides to bring back those extra features. Let's hope is not for too long.

Personally, I think that many of the posts are shorter and better thought out without the quotes. And I think we can all agree that we are better off without the polls. The only thing that I miss is the capability of inserting links and unfortunately, that's why the UBB coding was turned off in the first place.

It was a server upgrade, not a software upgrade. They essentially scooped up the entire forum system and deposited it on a different server.

No upgrade/changes happened when that was done.

No, I'm not turning the UBB code on just yet.

My mistake, I thought that it was a software upgrade that happened on june 21st, probably making little changes on how the system works. So it's must be a bigger server, that actually makes a bit of bigger storage. Anyways thanks mythmod for informing what happened during that maintenance.

I thought MM deleted me or something when i saw that, I kept on trying but it wouldn't work until the next day.
