Hello. I just discovered this forum and I'm new here. At the same time, I also have an investigatory project for school. Im in 4th year high school. I actually don't have an idea yet, but i thought that a mythbusters style idea would be cool. Can anyone give me suggestions on what to do for my IP? Not too hard and complex, and it should have something that can be measured to prove the investigation. Thanks!

Start with something you enjoy. See if there are any myths associated with it.
If you're just looking for random myths, that's what the rest of the forum is for, and you can easily find examples. But it isn't going to be any fun unless it's something you want to do yourself.

As 6º says, do something you enjoy but also try to go with something you know a little about. Everyone is better at some things than others. If you pick something you are knowledgeable in, you are that much ahead of the curve.
Also google "Scientific Method." You are often graded on your methodology more than your results.
And finally, read over the first few pages of posts on the other Mythbusters' boards. There are a lot of ideas there. Some are off the wall but many are definitly doable.
Good luck with your project and let us know what you decide to do and how it comes out.
