it was about a bit of political topic on which I saw on the news today which it created a huge controversy
Political topics are not appropriate for the mythbusters forums. That is probably why the topic was deleted.

Well if the rumors are true that mythmod is Grant, then I have proposed to mythmod. I never did get an answer though *sigh* ... I guess she's just too busy for me.

Mythmod is not Grant. (If MM or Grant would like me to confirm they are different people all they have to do is send me the money for a return flight to the USA...)

Reading the board would have told you this, it has been asked alot.

Basicaly, post 50 times. Senior member means nothing however, what gets you respect is posting intresting, well referenced, true things.
celtaues,

As directed by the very first post on this thread, I answer questions about specific threads only via email.

You haven't given me the topic of the thread, so I have no idea what it was about.

MythMod
I deal with this VIA EMAIL. Not on the board. Which is why it states that "I answer questions about specific threads only via email."

*scratches head* didn't think it was that hard to understand that if you wanted answers regarding that particular thread, you were to email me - not post on the board about it.

*sigh*.... Maybe I'm wrong...

Mythmod... You said you'd help me with my homework.

I missed out on getting Pass grade 1 on my paper because you didn't spot the fact I put my full stops before my references. '. (Green 2008)' instead of '(Green 2008).'

How dare you miss that, :P that cost me 8% and my pass grade 1. *sulks at you and demands Icecream*

Thats just a joke by the way MM< don't hurt me

So it's been weeks now. Any word when Mod_ivy is going to get her name back (stealthly implying board repair in general)?

Kim g is starting to give me the creeps. Eek

Later! Smile

Be nice. They're working on it. There's other issues a bit more pressing than an incorrect name at the top of the page.

Hi Mythmod, long-time-no-type-at,

It's been awhile since I've visited these pages and I miss all the bells and whistles at the top of the message box,(color, quotes, etc)

Is this a permanent change? Frown

Dear Mythmod: I'm new to the 'Mythbuster' world and I've been reading a great many of the posts (my way of doing my homework) and I'm very impressed with everything I'm reading. I think the arguments are well defined and I like the polite attitudes of all the members. I think your doing a fine job. Thank you!

James

Because the original buster was on loan from a company who requested him back. The Mythbusters had to return all the remaining peices of buster and find some other dummy to beat up.

I have a mental before and after image now;

Buster arriving at MB for the first time in a five foot by three foot crate.

Buster being returned in something the size of a shoe box.

To the great and wise MythMod:

I have severe memory problems, and have been gathering information on a statistical anomaly I have found in online forums. I cannot find any trace of a thread I may have posted. I am not asking for you to find the post for me (yet), but rather if it is possible to find out if a thread I started had been deleted. Is it possible, or need I email a moderator to see if it was deleted?
-JET73L, fan of Mythbusters and scientific process

Edited: the thread is not showing up on the View Recent Posts By page (if it existed), my apologies for how I phrased it formerly.

JET73L if your topic was forbidden for example 9/11 or water for gas it would have been deleted. There are "stickies" at the top of the various pages explaining this, the reasons why they are deleted are well laid out. My suggestion on any further posts: Read the stickies and use the find button.

I tried using Find, and it didn;t seem to be of any foprbidden subject. I did not know how to find if it had been deleted, or simply never posted, possibly due to not clicking the Submit Reply button properly, or something.

The subject was gathering information on a statistical anomaly I had found in a video game themed forum, how females tend to either game or attend gaming forums later in life than males. If it was deleted, I did not wish to get in trouble for reposting it, but I wanted to post it had I not posted it here, either due to a glitch or due to the aforementioned poor memory.
