rick4070,
Your guess is as good as mine, I've never had anyone come to me with that problem.
If it occurs on more than one thread, let me know.

Mythmod,
Yes, it is happening on my other posts on other threads too.
"beerfest" on Animals and Movies, "How Sharp is a Sword?" on "Oogie-Boogie," pretty much all of them, I can't edit, or delete.
I have to go now, but will check back tomorrow.
Thanks for any help, Rick

I've also lost the ability to edit/delete post on all the forums I've tried so far. I haven't tried all of them though and I can't remember for sure which ones I did try.
Edit: Seems to work fine here.
Edit 2:
So far
Works: The MB Water Cooler
Doesn't Work: Weapons Oogie-Boogie

Well I had this big edit written up about how this is the only board that seemed to allow edits. I went to post it and got the same error message about not having permission to edit my own posts. So it seems it has spread everywhere.

Moderator I just posted a new thread on the topic of the croc episode (part 2 of the hindenburg). I can into the episode discussion forum and I saw numerous postings about the Hindenburg but nothing about the crocs.
Long story short I posted the thread, got the monitered message, and then relized I made a mistake. Once the page had refreshed I noticed for the first time the appropriate thread at the top of the page that you started.
It's cool too if you allow the post anyway, but if you are planning to delete it will you instead redirect it to the croc zig-zag thread. It did take a while to type and it would be much appreciated.
P.S. I don't know what your mod priviliges are but if you don't have a redirect one, you could always just do a cut and paste.

Mythmod; Just something I'm curious about, Why are the posts done according to Eastern Standard Time?

I'll look into the editing problem as soon as I can.
secretgenius,
I'll copy and paste it for you, as this software doesn't have the capability to combine threads.
Moovit,
It registers posts in Eastern because that's the time zone the board is located in.

The editing problem might be that the set up of the boards doesn't allow you to edit after a given period of time or after a set number of other posts are made after your post. I've seen this on other boards (The Obsidian boards do this-you can only edit posts for a limited period of time and only if there are no other posts after it). If this is the case here then all the mods would be able to do is delete posts.
Mythmod; Which question is asked most often on the boards from what you've seen? And what is the daftest question you've ever seem asked on the boards?

cybermortis...
Depends on what category of questions you're thinking about. Questions asked to me? Or questions in general?
Either one, I'm going to have to think for a while on it... I've come across some real "winners" if you know what I mean. People have accused me of making the stuff up when I tell them - I can't write this funny. Seriously.

Maybe I should change the questions to;
What question have you seen asked most on the boards over all the categories?
What are some of the most stupid questions you've seen asked on the boards?

The first one is easy...
Probably the most posted ideas have one common theme - flatulence. Can you light it, can you die from it, can it make you more sexy (yeah.... that was actually one of them) - all manner of prepubescent giggly stuff. Yes, "tooting one's horn" can make you snicker, but come on... a bit of common sense will go a long way here.
I've been asked "How do you post?' um... if you posted that, sweetie, you've figured it out. I can't say there's been a LOT of stupid questions - but there are a lot of questions asked every day here that would be answered with a simple search - here OR google. I am a HUGE advocate for the "think for yourself" ideology. If you have others think for you, the only person who's going to be happy with the outcome is the other person.
When it comes to the board, as long as there is a genuine curiosity I have a tendency to allow it UNLESS it gets reported.

First.
Pestering me to answer a question is not the way you get on my good side. The 100 letter e's in the post I deleted was MAJORLY unnecessary.
Second,
Read this thread. ALL of it. The topic of permissions has been bought up at least twice in the 24 pages.
Thanks, and behave.

Hey Mythmod, I've noticed that if I try to put some text in bold or italics, it just makes it smaller, What's up with that??

It's a glitch in the theme for the message board. The problem has been reported and they're working on it

Mythmod, sorry if this was already addressed but the whole not being able to edit posts thing is very annoying. I know it may be necessary on the Dirty Jobs forum because of some people, but, here it is just a nuisance.

I'm loking for info on the hand-held RFID reader used, in that episode, to check Keri's implant. And where to get one.
Thanks for your help.
