Sorry to seem to intrude in something that is not any of my business. Again, I'm sorry. How many years had you known all of those people from the Mythbusters ? HAd you work in the film business for some time ?
Hi again, MM, This time I logged in at Disco's main site and they had no trouble recognizing me. They picked up on me one time. So I navigated here. Maybe it's an old Twilight Zone movie that I'm stuck in the middle of? Only The Shadow knows.
I have been working online for years. I have never worked in the tv business. They just know me because of past projects, that's all.

Sorry, I thought that you might had worked on Tv business for few months/years(slowly bonding a friendship with the director Dan Tapster) probably working with him on the backgrounds just like Tory Belleci was doing before becoming a mythbusters himself.
So you could say proudly that with your own efforts you got to be where you are right now, not by luck of being on the right time/place or anything of that kind. That through the years you earned his trust by the old time projects that mutually worked successfully, that some time later he put his trust on you to moderate this site that you are doing a great job at it.
MythMod Last night, I tried to post a poll on this forum. It showed up afterward on the main list, but when I came to check it out this morning, it was gone without a trace. What happened?
When that happens, chowderhead, it's usually one of two things: Either it was in the wrong section and was moved, or it was in violation of the Terms of Service, someone complained, and it was deleted.
THAT particular thread is a good example of how people can discuss a "hot topic" without it coming to verbal abuse. That thread is still alive because people took the time to form their opinions with civil intentions and the respect due the conversation.
I actually love that thread. It was reported as "Christian Bashing" but I didn't see it that way. I actually contacted four other people who weren't members to read it and give me their honest opinion. One stated that it was the best conversation on creationism vs evolution they'd seen in a long time - and they were surprised to find it here on this board.
That was explained a couple pages back. Shes just another member (she doesn't post here, but on one of the other Disco forums). Thanks to an error in the code somewhere, she's apparantly been given full mod status until they get around to fixing it. Fortunately she is apparantly an honest sort, and isn't abusing the mistake (although that member name may have been suspended and she has a new one - I heard mention of that somewhere).
Kinda surprising it's gone this long without being corrected, frankly.
