I never thought of a stunt in a movie to be a myth.
Its a stunt of course its not going to work with out the support team for the stunt.

Right, nor do many of us.
Personally though, I love that they show the public just how un-realistic some of the movie stunts and effects are.

It seems to me that there is a large portion of the public who have a,"Bugs Bunny", sense of physics. Anything done to enlighten and educate anyone in this area is very good service to humanity at large.
