I am probably opening a real can of worms by broaching this one, but I think Disco is on the right track with the addition to the moderator team.
It is always true that nothing is ever perfect, and that any system is only as good as the people who use it -- but, the forum had been getting to the point where some improvements were necessary and the most direct method of improving the situation quickly was doubling the moderator team.
Other suggestions have been noted, but the best and most direct method of impementing immidiate improvements was making the moderator team bigger, and I applaud everyone involved. Thank you!
And, on a side, I think MythMod has been doing absolutely marvelous work here too. But, I am sure there are people out there who had there stuff moderated and are going to quickly post here as a means to make a quick gripe about it.
If they do, be assured that there are many times more people happy with the new moderator, but who will not post in this thread because as the saying goes, only the squeaky wheel gets the oil. So, if there is no problem, many will simply go about their business. I for one want it clear that the improvements were necessary. A step in the correct direction has finally been taken, and the new moderator is highly talented, doing a great job, and working very, very hard to ensure that everyone has a nice place to work and play.
