18 years? Who said parenting ends at 18! My folks are still "parenting" my siblings and I and its been 30 years since the oldest of use came into the world! Dad says being a parent only ends when you die.

Yeah, I thought the new season would be with a replacement. Even if the baby has already been born for a bit now, I would've thought Kari would want to be with the child (and NEEDS to be with the child) as much as possible in these first few months.

Congrats!!!! Just keep Stella away from Grant and Tori. You never know when a baby myth might pop up. And knowing those guys, well, ler's just say they can get a little crazy.

The Lady with the Red Hair stopped filming at the end of May - as did everyone else. Everyone minus the Lady returned to work at the beginning of July (filming started in the second week of July, the first week was planning). Jessi Combes stood in for the Lady until last week, when the Red haired one returned.
That is a good 4 months off work - 5 if you include June (The hiatus).

By the standards of the entertainment industry in general four months is a long time on maternity leave. I've heard of presenters being back at work within two weeks of giving birth, and having taken on two or three weeks before that.

So how many episodes does that translate into?

They seem to average about one myth per week per team, and two or three myths per episode. (Baring in mind that one of those myths is Adam and Jamie's).

Ballpark figure I come up with is around 10-14 episodes based on this.

I am waiting for the episode busting baby myths. There are a million of them.

It is pretty much guarenteed they will not test baby myths that might harm Stella in any way.
