Fill in the blank...
If the Discovery Channel Store sold <blank> I'd buy two!
Or...
Discovery Channel needs to sell <blank> with <blank> on it!
Keep it clean.... tee hee

Why did you have to say keep it clean, I could think of so many dirty ones.

"The Discovery Channel needs to sell DVDs with CLOSED CAPTIONING on them."
I am astonished that my new Mythbusters DVDs aren't close-captioned! What possible rationale could exist for leaving the CC out? Some of us find it useful; some of us find it necessary. Is Disco really that cheap?
(okay, end of rant)

Why don't Discovery sell metal 'Mythbusters' logos like the ones see on the show? (or plastic ones that look like the real thing?)
And, out of interest why are they not thinking up these things themselves at Discovery? Don't they PAY people to give them ideas? Or did they run out of ideas after ordering lunch?

If the Discovery Channel Store sold Mythbuster's bobble heads I'd buy two.

I mentioned this before. Adam and Jamie talking dolls. I would buy two. One Adam doll, and one Jamie doll. If they did a Kari Grant and Tori set, I would buy them too.

cybermortis,
Consider this the "focus group." The most likely case is that they have a line of products coming out and they're fishing to see if anyone's interested without giving anything away.

Put another vote in for Closed captioning on the DVD sets. I was thinking about buying a set for my daughter, but if they don't have closed captioning then forget it. While she's not hearing impaired she does have some trouble with auditory processing and finds it very hard to follow a TV show or movie without closed captioning.

The Discovery Store needs to sell black tee's (short & long sleeve) with a small Mythbusters logo in the pocket position on the front and on the back a large picture of a yellow plane with "POAT" written on the side taking off a conveyor belt (or a treadmill to be sillier) with a caption like "POAT Air : Flying from treadmills since 2007". "POAT Air" down the long sleeves would be nice too. I wouldn't use POCB. POAT sounds sillier. Later!

Great idea MajMatt! I would definatly buy something with the Plane on a treadmill reference. Maybe not a t-shirt, but a mug or a travel mug with a plane that said, "IT FLEW!" under it and something like 'Mythbuster's POAT episode".
A t-shirt would be fun for some people, but how many more would just love to cash in on bragging rights with something they could use at work EVERY DAY. *L*

One more vote for closed captioning here. I don't need it myself, but one of my friends has only 50% function in her _good_ ear (as of the last update I got). And let's face it, lipreading Jamie is a little tricky. I'd like a wider assortment of t-shirts with the MythBusters logo. I'd like DVDs with extras -- not just the extra 6 minutes or so that gets clipped out of the US broadcasts for commercials (though I would like to see _all_ the DVDs be unedited), but photo galleries or additional build footage. I've got a lot of the DVDs, and I'd be willing to replace them if extended-version disks came out. My only request for coffee mugs is that they have a light-colored interior, because it's hard to brew your tea in the mug and see how it's doing with a black interior .

Single-topic (Curriculum-focused) re-edited dvds so teachers who want to teach about, let's say, electricity, have a selection to use without having to show "quicksand".
Posters with just the question to be solved asked, good graphics showing the mythbusters, and ideas on how to go about solving it.
Mini versions (toys) of some of the things that have been built (Chicken Gun, spring-loaded, with plastic chickens?, etc...)
A Buster doll with different apparatus to launch, drop, crash, etc... him with/from...similar to what he has been through in the show.
Ballistics gel skull/body parts.

A T-shirt with a picture of some horrible wreckage from the show on it,(cement truck, car from 22,000ft fall, parent's car from viewer special?) and the words "Well There's your problem" on it.

The "I reject your reality, and substitue my own" T-shirt seems to be missing.

They may already have had something like this one (I haven't looked in the store lately), but those black t-shirts with the red shockwatch sticker on the front chest (Airplane brace position episode) the team was wearing when they were dropped looked pretty cool. Maybe they could do that with a silkscreen or embroidered shockwatch emblem on the chest and a big "Mythbusters" logo and "Human Analog" across the back. Later!

Thanks for the heads up, Maj, but I was thinking of one that I thought I saw on the show. It was a black tee with the phrase and possible a pic of Adam on the front as well. Of course, if that was what I saw, Adam was the one wearing it.
