Hello,
If you could either email me the link to your post or post it here I would be happy to correct it for you.
Ok, in the seesaw/skydiver episode the Mythbusters did as I have seen them do many times before and do not give the mith a chance. First off they made a steel seesaw and made it at an angle so the dummy had no where else to go, but up and forward. What they are forgetting is, that a school seesaw is made out of wood and most times covered with a plastic covering to keep it from splintering. I have also seen steel ones, but they are reinforced and straight, not at an angle. The barrels broke the first steel one, not because they were too heavy, but because the corner of the steel barrel caused it to bend too quickly, directing the waight of the barrels in one small spot. As a former construction worker, I can tell you that I would rather walk on a wooden plank instead of a steel one in the shape that you made it, because it would do, just what yours did,,,bend. Wood is much more resilient and flexible than steel in a lot of applications. I which you had tried it with laminated plywood about one and a half inches thick and encased in a fiberglass covering.
Also another place you could have gotten data from for the test would be an acrobatic show. I have seen the acrobats jump onto a seesaw whcih launches there partner up and back where they land on the catcher's shoulder's standing up. I now it's not the same as far as the down force of a skydiver, but it always seems to be quite normal for the person to go back and up instead of forward like a catapult (Which is actually what you built) instead of a lever.

The "Find" application should be working fine now.
I've got a question, one of my posts was horribly mutilated to the point that the point I was trying to make was no longer obvious, so I tried to erase it entirely, but it didn't work. How do I delete one of my own posts in the boards?

It took you five years to realize that you cannot delete your own posts? LOL.
When you can still edit your post, there's an option to delete the post. Once you miss your editing time, you cannot delete them.
If you want a post deleted you have to email a moderator and ask them to do it.
I am having issues logging out and logging in . I can't say with 100% conviction that my computer may not have a security issue , I can say its not likely.
So If I am being moderated somehow let me know , or you need to check out your Log-in software.
